The game most of us play at work is badly designed - most people aren't having very much fun.

In this interactive webinar, Adelaide–raised (and now San-Francisco based) entrepreneur David Evans will share two powerful leadership tools Startup Founders and their teams can use to create a winning team right from the start.

An executive coach and successful entrepreneur, David's latest startup combines his skill as an executive coach with 15 years of experience in interactive entertainment to bring game design to the workplace. UGaWo: Ultimate Game of Work is gamification meets team coaching: redesigning the game of work so that it’s engaging, creative, efficient and fun!

A well–designed game has a compelling purpose or challenge, clear and fair rules, a real–time feedback system and voluntary participation. Leaders who successfully gamify their team's experience of work can expect the sort of results that happen when people play a GREAT game: engagement, creativity, and productivity. Having well defined rules plus transparent feedback mechanisms builds trust. Inviting people to play voluntarily, with a compelling and defined 'epic win' goal turns work into a game that the team enjoys.

UGaWo Interactive Webinar includes:
UGaWo's 5 Conversations - the basis of a well–designed game
Going for an Epic Win – creating a compelling team goal
Engagement loop – how to generate team engagement

Designed with startups in mind, this 2-hour 'live webinar' will feature David presenting via video link-up with UGaWo exercises facilitated live by Meg Drechsler of Paperclip Ideas. Tickets to attend the facilitated, in-person session are strictly limited. Those unable to make it in person can observe the webinar online.

Please note that this is a one-time introductory workshop rate, just for startups, not to be repeated. No refunds. Morning tea is included.

David Evans - Jedi Trainer: Executive & Public Speaking Coach. David Evans is an executive and public speaking coach who is applying team coaching and game design to workplace gamification through his new start-up Ultimate Game of Work.

David has tasted success and failure, having led multiple technology companies, raised several million dollars in the US, Australia and NZ, negotiated 8-figure deals at the C-level with multi-billion dollar companies, built profitable companies, been acquired as well as seeing M&A deals go South. He holds 2 patents, trained as a coach and actor and has presented at major conferences in the US and Australia.

David's entrepreneurial superpower is seeing the potential for and eliciting feats of brilliance in others. He first started coaching entrepreneurs in 2007 and in March 2012 launched his executive and public speaking coaching practice, Jedi Trainers, to help entrepreneurs, wantrepreneurs and intrapreneurs unleash their own superpowers for success. David has coached entrepreneurs through successful M&A deals as well as pre-concept start-ups that have achieved 6-figure monthly revenue in under 6 months.

David is working on a new start-up: Ultimate Game of Work, the culmination of his 15 years in the interactive entertainment space combined with coaching. Ultimate Game of Work works with organizations to achieve cultures in which the extrinsic rewards (the reasons we typically show up for work) and the intrinsic rewards (the reasons we usually engage in play) overlap and align. The result is engagement, innovation, productivity and fun.
