Growing up in a country town gave the artist an appreciation of simple things, the bush and a love of the Australian landscape. As kids they roamed free, had great adventures and experiences. Based in Melbourne the artist is better known for her design work and as the creative director/owner of Bassett Marketing and Design.

Family, health and other issues cut her budding career short and so it is that after 32 years she started painting again and loving it. This “Transition” back to rediscovering and exploring ideas, her passion, is addictive. Since resuming late last year, the artist completed two portrait commissions, and the current collection of paintings, with plans for new projects in place.

It’s great to be back! Exciting and exhilarating times.
