The 1941 Classic Movie starring Walter Pidgeon, Maureen O’Hara and the young Roddy McDowall set in a Welsh coal-mining community. Winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture of 1941 (it defeated Citizen Kane) and Best Director. For one screening only.

The movie’s screening will be preceded by a short concert from the Victoria Welsh Male Choir, featuring the beautiful harmonies of traditional Welsh songs. The choir will also sing at the interval break.

The Choir is lead by its Welsh-born award-winning conductor Faleiry Koczkar, who last year was honoured by the National Eisteddfod of Wales by being appointed its President of Wales and the World for 2012.

Last performed here 11 years ago to rave reviews so not to be missed.

“…a wonderful and moving experience.”

“…I cried – and I’m only 27 years old!”
