Brisbane band Interim have been busy these last few months, taking a break from performing to focus on songwriting and recording; developing their unconventional sound, that can only be described as a mixture of 90s grunge and classic-rock.

Thursday, June 27th will see Interim kicking off 'The Aesop’s Tour' in their hometown of Brisbane with progressive heavyweight's Caligula’s Horse, and Brisbane rockers Stellar Green and Project 62. The night represents the introduction of Interim to the national touring curcuit; from there they will be traveling down the East Coast, infecting crowds with their irrepressible energy in support of their newest singles ‘She’s The Devil’ and ‘Jack’.

The four-piece’s live show is nothing short of intoxicating and intoxicated, as they experiment with genres, heavy drum beats and bluesy hooks to take the crowd on a musical rollercoaster of emotion. Interim's compelling energy cuts through the barrier between performer and audience and should be experienced at least once in your lifetime.

The boys’ hometown gig at The Zoo in Brisbane is definitely the most special, as they play to the fans they know and love; however, there’s no doubt that Interim will bring the noise to each and every gig.

Caligula’s Horse offers devotees of all strains of powerful and progressive music something new and unique, with a modern and individual approach to music that channels the raw honesty of classic rock and the skill of progressive metal.

Stellar Green has shaped their sound from various influences, from the bright, fast, gritty surroundings. They have been described to have combined each member’s vast influences from progressive rock, funk and blues to create their own sound of well-structured, high-energy, alternative rock with catchy melodies, soulful timbre, filling groove and big sounds.

Project 62 don’t fit into many boxes, but the Aussie band really are a trippers dream. Combining elements of Primus, ZZ Top and Nick Cave with a healthy dose of blues and grunge, Project 62 have created a sonic mash that cuts the gimmicks, achieves completion and screams badass.
