Legendary filmmaker Jack McCoy is back with his newest and possibly best surfing feature yet, 'A Deeper Shade of Blue'. The film will premier at the Bondi Open Air Cinema on the 19th of February.

A Deeper Shade of Blue documents the culture and history of surfing all over the world. The 90 minute feature is broken up into several chapters including everything from the origins of surfing in Hawaii to what is now a billion dollar industry.

The DVD launch will be an epic night for all, with a local band kicking things off at 7pm, and the screening set to begin at 8:30. The man himself, Jack McCoy will be present on the night, happy to have a chat and sign copies of his DVD.

"This is the film that defines for me what I want to do, and what I want to stand for, and what I want to accomplish in my life" Jack stated.

A Deeper Shade of Blue is also set to screen across 400 screens in the United States, making it the most widely presented surf film ever.
