British pianist and musicologist Peter Hill is a world-renowned authority on the works of French composer Olivier Messiaen. He is a pianist who is inspired by the new challenges and musical techniques of 20th Century composers, and this will become evident in his selected repertoire. As a professor at The University of Sheffield, it is a rare opportunity to see Peter Hill perform at Queensland Conservatorium’s Kawai Piano Series.
