An Architect Photographed My Undies presents 'Lamb: Labor Weekend' - feat Alta, Nai Palm, Mulder and The Bosons.

Lamb is back for 2013 and kicking off their first event with a throwback Thursday. Lamb is the offspring of too much alcohol, not enough sex, music that makes you a little wet behind the ears and an over load of Masterchef disasters. This is a party where the crowd becomes the spectacle and the music feeds the unknown potty adventures that lamb has in store for you. Last year, Lamb: Get Off Your... Chops, presented an evening full of freshly baked funk & a bucket full of crispy swagger, a few babes walking around in underwear, a pile of black lights the size of Russia and a truck load of neon paint. Needless to say that evening was one shit hot party. Lamb: Labor Weekend, promises an evening of smooth rhythms, delicious sounds and a small sensory game, of what we like to call 'the kaleidoscopic black sheep'. This is lamb, welcome to your favorite late afternoon morning bender.

“Their live show is something else: flickering each other sly smiles as they play, Julius loops lush beats around Hannah’s spine-tingling lyrics and offer listeners a glimpse into their shared world of down-tempo trip-hop" – Acclaim

Singer/songwriter Hannah Lesser and producer Julius Dowson have combined their varied musical backgrounds to create Alta’s unique mix of organic vocals and electronic/sample-based beats.

Julius meticulously melds smooth trip-hop beats that reference producers of the past while incorporating contemporary sounds resulting in Alta’s fresh and distinctive sound.

Hannah’s voice was born and bred on blues music. Its raw ability is simply soul shaking.

Soon after the duo formed Triple J Unearthed featured the tracks Next and Turn Over. Alta packed up and moved from Hobart to Melbourne in 2012 and has since been featured in the Triple J Magazine and on a range of blogs and online magazines.

‘Stay Awhile’ is the debut EP by the duo. After some Triple J play and an Australian tour ALTA are back and ready to launch some new sounds

“Music has always been medication to me, a force used for self-healing”

Songwriter, vocalist and guitarist from Hiatus Kaiyote. A sonic seer, based in Melbourne, Australia

Nai Palm's songs are always soulful, cathartic and replenishing without being hemmed by a specific genre. She is intuitively driven as an artist and as a young woman, unafraid at taking risks, both sonically and in life with her heart open to the challenge of the adventure.

It has been a busy year for Nai, clocking up the Best New Talent at CMJ Music Marathon in NYC from major radio station KCRW where her band were in the Top 10 most played records for 2012.

She now counts Erykah Badu, Gilles Peterson, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Flying Lotus and The Roots among her fans and has recorded with both Shafiq Husayn and Taylor McFerrin.

Hiatus Kaiyote received Best Breakthrough Artist of 2012 at the Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards in London and their debut record "Tawk Tomahawk" has topped the blogisphere internationally and peaked as Album Of The Week on BBC6 Music.
