Two legendary forces in new music since the 1980s come together for the first time, bringing their unique brand of global eclecticism.

Laurie Anderson is revered worldwide for her genre-defying work in the roles of composer, poet, filmmaker, singer and visual artist.

The recipient of the Polar Music Prize and Avery Fisher Award, Kronos Quartet mark their 40th anniversary in 2013 with a repertoire that spans early music to more than 750 works commissioned by or for Kronos Quartet.

Together they create an event that heralds a new synthesis of sonic invention but more simply is a phenomenal evening of electrifying sound.

"Laurie Anderson … has broken through and made some of the most interesting art of the late 20th century ... earning as she goes a reputation as one of the world’s premiere performance artists." - Wired
