Silky vocals, heavy beats, amazing basslines, keys and guitars is what makes this band so unique.

The Leisure Bandits are made up of kiwi twin brothers Gat and Pukz along with their bass player Hal and they’ll be playing at Sharks on April 12 from 8.30pm.

Since releasing their self-funded and self-titled debut EP in early 2012 the Leisure Bandits have been gaining momentum across Australia.

Wrapping up a busy 2012 with an east coast tour, unforgettable performances at Island Vibe Festival and Subsonic Music Festival, a support slot for NZ reggae band 1814 and a bunch more summer festival there’s no slowing down for these party starters this year.

This year will see them release their newest single and a national tour is also on the cards.

A party band, they play they’re not confined to any particular style or genre.

Their unique fusion of soulful sounds, reggae vibes and funky grooves never fails to pack out dance floors, turning even the most difficult of crowds into a surging ocean of party people.

“We get our inspiration from all sorts of things such as life, parties, relationships, music,” they say.
