Lepers and Crooks:

These days it's hard to find bands that can rock the house down without sounding like a wave of meaningless noise and Lepers & Crooks is the kind of band that does just that. In their upcoming album they have produced a broad spectrum of musical colours through the blending of rock, funk, progressive and acoustic sounds. Titled 'This Must Be Make Believe,' the upcoming album takes a journey musically and lyrically through a group of young minds' experiences of excitement, reflection, doubt and attraction.

Lepers & Crooks' roots go back to their school days and their present sound is the culmination of many years of playing together. Boasting a recklessly powerful drum and bass sound supporting the reverent and stunning guitars and two wild eyed magnificent voices, Lepers and Crooks are never afraid to be heard. Their songs range from soft loving acoustics to funky rocking electrics that build into all out musical eargasms.

When these five mysterious men step on stage together they create a magic that is unparalleled, because of the sheer unique vibration it gives the venue and everyone inside during each of Leper's and Crooks gigs. Those who lend an ear usually find the sound authentic and unpretentious as they are absorbed by the bands lyrical reflections and warming mayhem of rock theatrics.

The release of their debut album will be in Spring 2012 at a yet to be announced gig which will hold a few surprises including virgin tracks that haven’t been gigged previously. If you really want to be impressed by a new band then keep following, because this year Lepers and Crooks will not disappoint.
