Gold Coast rock band Lilly Rouge have watched their popularity rise in 2012 as they traversed the Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney live music scenes off the back of their debut EP, Severed Souls which was released in June. 2013 is shaping up to be massive for the band as they kicked the year off at the Big Day Out on the Gold Coast just before releasing a new EP, Black Blood in February before heading off on a 30+ date tour of the US in March.

Lilly Rouge’s first single, Keep Talking received commercial airplay on Austereo Network and baconrock online radio (USA) in 2010. The follow up release, House of Severed Souls had rotation on Rebel FM, Hot Tomato 102.9, Rabbit Radio, Firebrand Rock, baconrock online and Women of Metal 2012 .

Lilly Rouge are heavily influenced by bands such as Monster Magnet, Evanescence, Buckcherry, Marilyn Manson and A.F.I giving them a different flavour to most other music on the current Australian scene. Lilly herself steals vocal influences from Joan Jett, Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Janis Joplin whilst personifying the 70's rock chick.

When they aren't playing 'til their fingers bleed the group can be found annoying old people with their overly loud rock 'n' roll, bathing in Jack Daniels and driving slowly in the fast lane.
