Look The Other Way is a new dance theatre work that delves into the issues affecting new arrivals living in Australia and includes a spectrum of opinions from interviews and multimedia by young people around Perth.

Don’t miss this exciting piece that challenges and explores attitudes and opinions. An emotional rollercoaster, Look The Other Way examines multi-culturalism in the light of Australia’s recent history.

The performance features dancers Toby Derrick, Peter Fares, Bernadette Lewis, Rhiannon Newton, Ella-Rose Trew, Tyrone Robinson and secondment dancer Yilin Kong, with special appearances by Aranmore College students Muhammad Karimi and Jacob Majok.

Buzz Dance Theatre’s creative team is led by Director Cadi McCarthy ably assisted by Artistic Associate Laura Boynes. Set design is by Monique Wajon, sound design by Matt Cornell and Tristen Parr, lighting design by Andrew Portwine and visual design by Dashvisual.
