Love Your Local Markets Hawthorne is a market designed to bring together the community and local businesses in a relaxed, fun environment that all the family can enjoy.

On the second Sunday of every month you’ll find a local market you’ll love in Hawthorne. From 7am until 1pm the Oval in the center of Hawthorne Park transforms into a bustling, vibrant hub full of families, couples and visitors to the area who stop to enjoy the community spirit that a market brings.

The market includes fresh produce, food, coffee, vintage, hand crafted designs, homewares and much more in a laid back, family atmosphere that is perfect for pulling out a picnic rug and enjoying good food and the Sunday paper.

At our November markets there will be pony rides (courtesy of Pony’s Pony’s Pony’s), spring free trampolines (from Jump Zone), live music and Inspiration Garden (a neighbourhood project where they aim to inspire local home-based food systems by sharing and learning together). We are also joining with the wonderful folk at Inna Bliss to offer FREE yoga in the park (8am – 9am).

Along with some of our loved regulars, wood-fired pizzas (from Pizza Antica), Tasmanian Gourmet Foods, farmer Tom Ford is back this market, with cherries – be quick they won’t last long!

The AFL 2013 Premiership Cup will visiting on its National tour, to allow all Hawks fans the opportunity to see the cup and have their photo taken with it, and there will be various prizes for fans who share their photos on the official website, including a replica Premiership Cup.
In the Morningside Panthers club-house from 1pm - 3pm.
