An orgy of ridicule! A litany of abuse! Screech with delight as two bitchy manservants indulge in a carnal music theatre ritual of high camp role play and mockery. In the privacy of Mademoiselle's boudoir, they bitch, they gossip and sing songs with titles like "The Nasty Queen from Menswear", "The C Word's Back in Town", "The Table Manners of the Petit Bourgeoisie" and "Alice Has Prolapsed Again".

It's art without any constructive social purpose. It's a riot!

Michael Dalley writes cruel, satirical musicals which mock art, culture, fashion, government, economies and, sometimes most personally, individuals! His shows, Vaudeville X, Intimate Apparel, Death in White Linen and Urban Display Suite, have won acclaim and audience-following over the last decade; and have often been produced by large organisations who later form the subject matter for his songs.

Paul McCarthy, star of shows such as At Home With Julia and Comedy Inc, is one of Australia's best impersonators. He can also be very cruel. Paul and Michael met in 1985 at Melbourne University. Both were overdressed in New Romantic clothing. They did not work together until 2006, when they teamed up to create Intimate Apparel, which was nominated for four Green Room Awards and which enjoyed seasons at Melbourne Fringe and Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Soon they will storm into Melbourne's Midsumma Festival, demand alcohol and disgrace themselves to the accompaniment of John Thorn, who feeds their bile with his excellent piano playing!
