An entire workshop covering the use of mandalas along with guided meditation is held each week.

Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning “circle” or “completion” and has been part of artistic expression in many cultures for hundreds of years. Considered a valuable tool by some of the very founders of Psychology like Carl Jung, the use of the Mandala as a path towards healing and a means of reflecting our own inner thoughts and nature make it ideal to use in art therapy.

Mandalas are used for meditation and vehicles for change. They can be used as a metaphor for ongoing healing and empowerment over trauma. Through the creation of mandalas you will tell the story of your personal journey into your inner centre, to find that wholeness and stillness that lies at your core, no matter what storms may surround you.

No art experience or ability necessary. The focus is on the process.
