Melbourne International Singers Festival offers the most exciting and diverse range of workshops, masterclasses and concerts with Internationally renowned artists and presenters for choirs and singers, from Gospel to Cabaret Music Theatre to Classical and A cappella music!

Experience the transformational power of music by participating as a singer and/or audience member in Australia’s most prestigious and beautiful performing venues from the Edge at Federation Square, Melbourne Recital Centre to St Paul’s Cathedral. Book a package and save!

Highlights include acclaimed ABC recording artists The Idea of North for A cappella workshops and concerts, along with two of the finest Gospel and Spiritual music experts from the USA, Drs William and Rosephanye Powell. Returning from a stellar 20 year career in the UK and USA, join Dr Kathleen McGuire for conducting workshops and Faure (Requiem) In A Day along with Cabaret and Music Theatre masterclasses and concerts.

Local artists include Deborah Cheetham, Indigenous Soprano & Composer, and Dr Jonathon Welch, Artistic Director & Vocal workshops.

Get into the Festival spirit by registering for the Primary, Secondary and Community Choir competition with the first Melbourne Eisteddfod adjudicated by George Torbay, with great prizes and opportunities to perform at The Edge, Federation Square and Wesley Church from June 5-7, 2013.

The world premiere screening of the Beyond Hard Knocks documentary launches the Melbourne International Singers Festival and proceeds from the screening and Festival will fund the School of Hard Knocks Institute’s arts, cultural and wellbeing programs for the disadvantaged.
