On Saturday April 20, the TAS Aquatic Centre will host the MS Swimathon event of the year to raise vital funds to help people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

MS Swimathon is a great event for all ages and abilities. It doesn’t matter if you can do 100 fast laps or doggy paddle one, everyone can join in, have fun and support people living with MS – an incurable disease which affects a person’s central nervous system.

The Cairns MS Swimathon is a fun team event comprising of up to 15 swimmers in a team. Each team has one swimmer in the water at all times over the 12 hour period. It is up to the team how you swim the time away!

The MS Swimathon is a community-based event that encourages everyone to take part and raise money to help people living with MS.

Participants can raise donations by asking for a one off donation from friends and family or being sponsored based on the number of laps they can do.

Register today from just $15 and help support those individuals living with MS and their families. See www.MSswimathon.com.au/ for more information.
