Get back to basics at a market celebrating old school craft with a contemporary edge

Nanna says "whats a chain store?", and reminds us that cooking, sewing, baking and growing can be just as groovy as the high street, as a brand new handmade and homemade market celebrating old school handicrafts with a contemporary edge arrives in Chelsea, Melbourne's South East.

Nanna Cool is considered the "bees knees" of markets, not only presenting stallholders selling stitched, crocheted and knitted crafts, handmade jewellery, baby items, baked goods and lots more, but also an opportunity to brush up on forgotten skills with demonstrations in long lost handicrafts in the 'Craft Room' throughout the day.

No need to leave the whipper snappers at home either, Nanna Cool provides entertainment for the kids including craft workshops, music, facepainting and more.

Nanna Cool, Markets with Craftitude runs between 10am and 2pm, with a $2 gold coin entry to the public.Nanna says they'll be"no scally wags" at this market, so you'd better "make it snappy".
