Named as one of the top ten must see films for the Sydney Film Festival, Nerve premiers world wide this week.

Sebastien Guy's striking debut feature film Nerve is a psychological drama that follows a man, Jakob Evans (Christian Clark), who suffers an emotional breakdown after the death of his wife in a car accident. Jakob's loss and pain runs deep as he claims to have found her in bed with another man just before she died.

Unable to accept her death and her infidelity, Jakob decides his only chance at closure is to find the man she was sleeping with to help him comprehend what they shared. With the help of Grace (Georgina Haig), a promiscuous and troubled girl, Jakob starts to put together the pieces of the puzzle and track down his wife's lover.

Nerve is a dark, emotive mystery that looks into the inner struggle of a man tormented by grief and regret.

Nerve is part of the Sydney Film Festival and is showing at Event Cinemas on George Street.
