You are invited to a strategic think-tank to consider the important nexus between international education and tourism. This event is supported by the Australia China Council (ACC), Victoria University (VU) and the Australian China Alumni Association (ACAA). The aim is to develop a strategic discussion paper that surfaces new ways to connect with China through tourism and international education and provide a clear roadmap to maximising the commercial opportunities presented by these connections.

Participants include key industry leaders, policy makers and academics from the tourism, international education and alumni relations industries. Through a mix of presentations, panel discussions and workshops, the aim of the day is to consider how to harness the under-recognised potential of alumni for the mutual benefit of the Australian and Chinese tourism and education industries.

Speakers include:
- Ms Felicia Mariani, Managing Director, Australia Tourism Export Council
- Dr Leo Jago, Chief Economist and General Manager, Tourism Research Australia
- Professor Byron Keating, University of Canberra
- Mr Edward Smith, Founder and Director, Australia China Alumni Association
- Mr Kevin Brett, igraduate
- Dr Peng Tao, Founder and CEO
