Newcastle Italian Film Festival 2013

Hand in Hand Art House is proud to present Newcastle's annual Italian Film Festival to be held on the 15th to 17th November 2013 (with an advanced screening on 9th & 10th November) at the Tower Cinemas, Newcastle. The Festival is about celebrating the traditions and embracing Italy’s way of life through Australian eyes.

In 2013, our fourth year of bringing you Newcastle’s very own Italian Film Festival, we are screening nine films commencing with a repeat of last year’s feature film “Welcome to the South” on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th November.

The festival proper then kicks off on Friday 15th November with the official launch of the festival and screening of the newly released film “The Great Beauty”.

As always, wine, cheese and dolci will be on offer at the premier features scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights. Of course, if you cannot attend on either of those nights, there are films running all weekend including a Saturday matinee or afternoon options on both Saturday and Sunday.
