Petbarn Myaree Gala Opening & Pet Dating Event

Do you believe in finding the One? Petbarn needs the help of Perth locals to put together purrfect pairs!

To celebrate the opening of the new Myaree Petbarn store and the launch of its cat adoption partnership with Cat Haven, Petbarn is hosting a unique pet dating event for prospective pet owners to meet their potential new feline family member at its gala opening on Saturday 16 November.

Perth locals will have the chance to meet and greet eight special cats that are up for adoption and join in with some fantastic family activities in store. Once the potential owners are interviewed, cats can be adopted on the day.

While this is a light-hearted event, the purpose of the event is to find these cats a loving home. In the last year alone, the Cat Haven received over 8,000 abandoned cats and kittens and successfully rehomed more than half. Through its partnership with the Cat Haven, Petbarn aims to find new homes for hundreds more abandoned cats across the region over the next year.

In addition to the pet dating event, the gala opening celebrations will include a petting zoo, face-painting, balloon artist, pet nutritionists and 20 per cent off products store wide.
