Picnic Under the Stars

Enjoy world-class voices, food and wine in the beautiful South Bank Parklands, this November for Picnic Under the Stars.

Be entertained by stunning jazz vocalist Katie Noonan, world-renowned soprano Lisa Gasteen, Chinese soprano Ms Wu Bixia, Tibetan music from Tenzin Choegyal, and Argentinian winner of the International Music Council’s 2013 Musical Rights Award Susana Ferreres.

Your ticket will include entry as well as a delicious individual picnic hamper. Hampers include: mixed wild olives, cashews, tomato and humus dips, selection of farmhouse cheeses with crisp breads, Turkish and crispy lavosh breads, antipasto vegetable platter with marinated and charred vegetables and balsamic onions, charcuterie platter (includes shaved jamon, smoked salmon and roasted chicken pieces), Caprese salad with Roma tomatos and fresh basil, buffalo mozzarella and aged balsamic, European chocolate pannacotta, served on bark plates with cutlery. A vegetarian picnic hamper option is also available.

Picnic Under the Stars in one of the highlights of the International Music Council’s 5th World Forum on Music hosted by Queensland Conservatorium. The event is a fundraiser for the International Music Council’s efforts to advocate music rights for children and adults around the world.

Drinks will be available for separate purchase from the bar throughout the evening. A limited number of picnic blankets will be available at the event and guests are welcome to bring their own. Hampers will be available for pickup at the venue from Wine & Dine’m Catering from 6pm.
