Cottesloe Beach, the summer of 1988, Australia's Bicentennial Year
The beach odes to mortality are wonderful.
Slightly sexy in a pathetic and soft sort of way.
Reminds me of caring once, and of the regret of having lost the care,
and the peace of later years that has now wiped those cares away.
And I'm not especially old. But these pix take me someplace I'm not
familiar with and that's a kind of miracle.
Very cool that you're resurrecting them.
