The local community at Port Clinton have declared war against weeds! Their beautiful coastal habitat is under threat from invasive weeds which threaten natural ecosystems.

Conservation Volunteers are seeking volunteers to lend a hand over the five day period. This is your chance to assist a small community group and help make a difference to the SA coast. You will be rewarded with meeting the locals, seeing spectacular coastal views and may get to see some of the local wildlife.

Join Conservation Volunteers, the Port Clinton Progress Association and the Biodiversity and Endangered Species Team (BEST) Group for the week or if you are a local or a traveller passing through, join us for a day or for as long as you like.

Also included is the Coastal Communities Environment Program Workshop on Saturday - spend the day with other local community members and learn about taking digital photographs, Intertidal ReefWatch and making the most of social networking whether a volunteer or community group.

This project is funded through the Australian Governments Caring for our Country Initiative.
