Dogs and their owners will be amazed to see a GIANT frozen bone at Bondi Beach to mark the launch of a new refreshing icy treat for dogs.

Nestlé Purina PetCare Australia is inviting you and your four-legged companions to Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach for the launch of RUFFS ICE BONES on Saturday 16 November 2013.

A GIANT bone made of ice and stretching over 1.5 metres tall and five metres long, will mark the launch of this innovative new product, which will keep dogs refreshed in the hot summer months.

Special guest Ollie, the beloved companion of Luke Jacobz (host of Channel 7’s X Factor), will officially launch the doggishly good treat. The duo will also be on hand for pictures with their fans.

The RUFFS team will be handing out a FREE frozen treat to visiting dogs, so make sure you head down to Bondi Beach Pavilion from 9am to get a glimpse of what is possibly the biggest doggie bone Australia has ever seen.

TAKING PLACE at 12.30pm - 1.00pm at the GIANT BONE ICE SCULPTURE

There will also be a special appearance from Nestlé Purina PetCare Ambassador, Dr Lisa Chimes (from Bondi Vet) who will be talking about preparing dogs for the hot summer months. Joining her throughout the day will be will Purina Ambassador and animal behaviourist Dr Joanne Righetti, who will provide advice on solving common pet problems.

Dog owners are invited to upload their photos on the day to Facebook/PurinaAustralia and via Instagram using hashtag #ruffsicebones. Follow Instagram/PurinaAustralia to join a competition to win some doggishly good treats for your pooch.

The launch of RUFFS ICE BONES promises to be a BIG day for Sydney dog lovers!
