More than 2 million Australians – including 400,000 children – are affected by a rare disease. With a rare disease comes rare challenges.

Join The Smile Foundation at Bondi Beach on 28 February to show support and recognition for families who live with rare disease. This is also a chance to acknowledge the strength and determination of the relatives, friends and carers who ensure children who have a rare disease achieve a quality of life.

The Bondi Beach celebration will be offering live street art, live music performance by the lead singer of award winning Australian band the Potbelleez, and free breakfast. SMILE Foundation Celebrity Ambassadors will also be attending to show their support for Rare Disease Day including Hair Stylist Joh Bailey, Olympian Lisa Forrest and Ilan Kidron from the Potbelleez.
