Future Entertainment is happy to announce that UK number 1 hit-maker Rita Ora is set play 2 exclusive headline sideshows whilst on tour in Australia for the Future Music Festival in March! The hugely coveted support slot has been snapped up Rita’s pal, DJ Fresh. Amongst a myriad of personal successes, this dynamic duo was responsible for double-handedly creating the UK number 1 smash hit, and certified Aussie summer anthem Hot Right Now.

It’s been an incredible couple of years for UK’s fastest rising pop star Rita Ora. The young Londoner, was snapped up and signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation when she was just 17. 2012 alone saw the talented starlet make music history with no less than 3 number 1 UK singles and a number 1 album to boot and so far, 2013 is shaping up to be huge!

Rita burst onto the Australian Music scene last year with her debut single ‘How We Do (Party)’ which since its release has been certified double platinum. Her smash-hit follow up R.I.P also stormed the airwaves the nation over. Not to mention Rita and Fresh’s supreme success with the ultimate party-starter Hot Right Now, which was also a huge success here in OZ.

Live, Rita has supported US superstar Drake and UK rock giants Coldplay on tour as well as playing at every major UK festival and event this summer including Hackney Weekend, Wireless, Lovebox, T in the Park, Capital’s Summertime Ball and T4 On The Beach to name a few. If that’s not enough, this young heavyweight has collaborated with a veritable who’s who of the music world. With names such as will.i.am, Chase & Status and Tinie Tempah having queued up to work with the talented young songstress.

Diving head first into the scene (with Jay Z’s backing, no biggy!) Ora pounds the pavement for female sensations acting on natural instinct, hard-working ability and straight up raw talent. Get ready to bask in Rita’s aura!

DJ Fresh is credited as one of the founding fathers of Drum & Bass - and rightly so. His live shows and production skills alike continue (since the late 90s) to roll out in authentic fashion. ‘Nextlevelism’ (which hit our shores late last year) is no exception to the rule. His single, “The Feeling” covertly pushing the boundaries Fresh has never (ever, ever) had a problem crossing. He’s also the first ever drum and bass artist to score a UK number 1 single. Impressive? We think so!
