Roberto Succo, with an 'S', was Europe's most wanted man man during the 1980's. This beautiful and charming young Italian murdered his parents and terrorised France, Italy and Switzerland, traveling and killing at will. He was a flamboyant escape artist, a constant news headline and a rock-star killer with a cult following of adoring fans. From his impressions of this real life story. Koltès creates a fascinating tale, a modern mythology which questions our relation to life, death, violence and love.

Le Thèâtre des Assassins and Sydney Independent Theatre Company's production of Koltes' masterpiece is directed by French director Anna Jahjah, who has only recently landed on Australian shores, and features a host of Australia's best emerging artists and established talent. The cast includes new kid on the block Tim Cole in the title role along side renowned theatre personalities Adrian Barnes and Lyn Pierse, as well as Lucas J. Connolly, Sam Dugmore, Kirsty Jordan, Kimberley Kelly, Neil Modra, Danielle Stamoulos and Delphine Vuagnoux. Joining them on stage will be Michael Leonard on Trumpet and Flugelhorn.

"An unbelievable journey, a mythical character, a hero like Samson or Goliath, monsters of strength, brought down by a stone or a woman." - Bernard-Marie Koltès

Spend a night in Woolloomooloo with a rock-star killer – if you dare.
