Runcible Spoon is a musical duo performing family-friendly music from the Blue Mountains, NSW. Jocelyn Moen is a singer-songwriter and music educator who has worked in Australia, Europe and Canada. She has written, directed and conducted 3 musicals for children both here and overseas. She has performed at several international festivals including Peat’s Ridge, Transit Lounge (Berlin) and Cinema des Antipodes (St Tropez, France). Christina Low is a singer-songwriter who writes music in English and Indonesian. She moonlights as an environmental scientist and lives with her family, and a lounge of lizards. Both Christina and Jocelyn are mothers and their music is influenced by their adventures as parents, cultural backgrounds, love of nature, and travels abroad. The ‘Runcies’ feature quirky, humorous, international, original songs which tell tales of childhood, parenthood and the natural world. They also offer workshops for children where participants can play along to our songs with percussion, singing and movement.
