Soul Vibes is a night of live music specialising in neo-soul, hip-hop, groove, reggae, roots and good vibes. Performing on the night will be:

Radical Son:
Effortlessly crossing genres - Soul, roots, hip hop and beyond, a singer storyteller like no other.' Radical Son is no stranger to the live music scene having collaborated with the likes of Archie Roach, Jimmy Barnes, The Herd, Urthboy, Emma Donavan, Paul Kelly, Declan Kelly and Last Kinection to name a few.

Dilla Cypher:
Dilla Cypher or the Jay Dee Soul Tribute band is a collective of musicians that pay homage to the late great James Yancey aka Jay Dee aka J Dilla, one of the most respected and talented hip-hop / neo-soul music producers of all time.

Although he might not be a house hold name James Yancey’s music was unquestionably influential as he collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry such as A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, D’angelo, the Phycyde, Common, Erykah Badu, Bilal and even Janet Jackson. The legacy left by J Dilla ‘s repertoire truly is incredible.

Catch a special live performance of the Dilla Cypher at ‘Soul Vibes’. Performing live will be Simon Olsen, Rob Edwards, Aiden Haworth, Harry Sutherland, Billie McCarthy & DJ Jonah.

Moa:
Swedish Australian singer / songwriter / guitarist Moa will be bringing a selection of soulful covers with a twist to Soul Vibes e.g. Fat Freddy's Drop, Erykah Badu, Kimbra mixed in with her original material. Moa's style is best described as soulful roots / folk. Joining her will be the Skylounja rhythm section: Fred (drums,samples) Igor (Bass) and Tim (keys,sax,samples).

DJ Jonah & DJ Triptrix (West Labz Sound):
DJs Jonah & Triptrix are a production / DJ duo known as West Labz Sound, they have worked with the likes of Alphamama, KillaQueenz, Kween G and more. At 'Soul Vibes' they'll be mixing up a smooth blend of their own beats with the music that they love. Expected lots of bass heavy neo soul, hip-hop and reggae goodness.
