Banyule City Council, in partnership with Studio F (Banyule FReeZA Committee) is hosting a fully supervised drug, alcohol and smoke-free event for 16-25 year olds.

The festival is organised and run by a number of young people from Banyule and includes live music, DJs, rides, stalls, art displays and workshop, free food, prizes and more – all for free!

Splashdown showcases and celebrates the talents of local creative people and provides an evening of safe entertainment for young people.

The event includes the FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands regional heat showcasing some of the best local bands from Banyule and beyond, including Ambrosia, Bear Sign, Black Mayday, Caitlyn Can Wait, Five Stories High, Fly You Fools, Little League, and Swim Through Seasons.

There will also be local DJs including DJ JC and DJ Menza, as well as free rides and amusements including the King Kahuna Surf Ride and Inflatable Extreme Sports Challenge.

And there's more! Banyule 100 Art Exhibition, craft, activities and information stalls, street art demonstration, free food, prizes and heaps more!

WaterMarc is offering $5 swim/slide passes (normally $15) to festival goers including pool access and unlimited rides on the Tantrum Alley Waterslide until 7pm!
