Join naturopath Hannah Boyd as she teaches you why sprouts are the new superfoods!

Hannah will teach you all about the science of sprouting and why they are a food you should be including in your diet. You’ll learn the difference between sprouted, activated and microgreens and how to incorporate them into recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Once you learn the steps on how to grown your own sprouts from nuts, seeds and legumes you’ll never buy boring old store bought alfalfa again. Instead you’ll graduate to more exotic and exciting sprouts such as spicy Asian microgreens, sprouted buckwheat, millet and puy lentils – just to name a few. These little guys taste amazing and are so easy to grow. No garden required.

The one hour workshop will include:
- What exactly is sprouting?
- Why we should sprout? Nutrition. Cost. Food connection/ own responsibility, availability.
- The nutrition of sprouting
- Steps on how activate/sprout/microgreen – methods, tools,
- Troubleshooting sprouts
- Taste testers of loads of different sprouts

To take home and get you started, you’ll receive a copy of Hannah’s Guide To Sprouting booklet full of recipes, hints and tips. We’ll also have lots of the tools you need to get sprouting like sprouting bags, some seeds to sprout, a jar-sprouting kit available for purchase on the night.
