Summer Art Bazaar is Newcastle's annual slice of Christmas shopping heaven, taking place every year on the first Saturday of December.

This year’s Summer Art Bazaar will be the 11th Art Bazaar held at it’s original home, at Civic Park, Newcastle!

Wander through the colourful & vibrant Civic Park & be part of the festive atmosphere. Art Bazaars are free entry & there's also demonstrations, entertainment, food, drinks & a mobile ATM.

Art Bazaar is now held quarterly by Hunter Arts Network (HAN), which is a non-profit membership of Artists, Designers, Jewellers and craft people from the Hunter region & showcases original handcrafted goods from over 100 local HAN artists.

Summer Art Bazaar is a great way to show families & visitors how wonderful Newcastle’s creative community is with Art in the Park, the launch of the inaugural Marion’s Artree fundraiser for Meniere’s, & Special Olympics Asia Pacific Games closing ceremony in the city commencing after Art Bazaar on the same day.

Art in the Park has been developed to run on the same day as Art Bazaar & The City of Newcastle will help provide art materials & professional artists for guidance, for Adults & children to come and make art.
