The Teddy Bears of Macedon and surrounding suburbs will be taking over Gisborne congregating near Gisborne adventure playground for the Inaugural Teddy Bears Picnic. The purpose of their gathering is to raise funds and awareness as part of the Down Syndrome association T4321campaign.

Local girl; Amelia Anderson aged 8 months is hosting the event for the Teddy Bears and hoping that lots of boys and girls will attend with their mummy’s and daddy’s. Children can come in disguise if they wish, but must remember to bring their teddy bear with them to get in.

The Teddy Bears are happy for grownups to attend this magical event but there is a registration fee for adults and a gold coin donation is required for children. Grownups must also remember to bring a picnic and rug. Entry for all Teddy bears is free (because it’s their picnic).

Amelia hopes the bears can raise $2000 at the event, where there will be face painting and prizes for various Teddy bear achievements, and for best children’s disguise.

Sponsorship for this event is needed so if you are able to assist or would be available to volunteer on the day please contact Emma Gierschick on emma@7keys2freedom.com or Tel: 0407 217 027
