Gotye, Katie Noonan and David Hinchliffe are among celebrities and artists who have donated to The Big Art Auction to raise money for The Big Issue in Brisbane on November 14.
Guests will have the chance to bid on more than 30 items, with all proceeds going towards initiatives to support The Big Issue’s homeless and disadvantaged vendors in Brisbane.
Auction items include records from Gotye and Katie Noonan’s private collections, cookbooks from Channel Nine news presenter Andrew Lofthouse’s home, and a commemorative plate from the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, donated by Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk.
Meanwhile, David Hinchliffe, Judy Watson and Robert Brownhall are among more than 20 artists to donate work for the event.
The Big Art Auction will be held at the Volumes Gallery, 22 Ross St, Newstead from 6pm-9pm on November 14. Tickets cost $55 and include a light meal and entertainment by the Ewan MacKenzie Duo Tickets are available at link.
