We kick off the first weekend in April with the return of big band The Broken Sweethearts and Rod Fritz in solo mode, and welcome young singer-songwriter Alkali Fly to our stage for the first time. All up, a pretty darned fine evening of acoustic entertainment, I think you’ll agree. Join us!

The Broken Sweethearts (blues/rock/country):
It’s not often we put on big bands here at The Chandelier Room – big in the sense of lots of members. But here are five-piece country/blues rockers The Broken Sweethearts with their easy rollin’, finger snappin’ tunes. They made their Chandelier Room debut back in January and nigh-on took the roof off. Welcome back, fellas!

Rod Fritz (rock/pop/indie):
Tasmania-based singer-songwriter Rod Fritz is back in Melbourne – and we always love to have him play at The Chandelier Room when he’s in town. His sets are always chock full of catchy rock/pop goodness, so come down and get your dose.

Alkali Fly (folk/indie/blues):
Alkali Fly is a man with a sweet face and an even sweeter voice. He’s performed from a young age at camp fires, cafes, festivals and everywhere in-between. Crowd members tell him that they “now believe in love again” by simply watching him perform.
