AIM Gladstone’s 2013 Leadership Forum will feature a panel discussion of the distinctive challenges faced by managers in regional Australia.

Management of organisations and people in a regional area poses its own set of demands. Our region’s fast changing economic conditions place massive pressure on managers. Compounding this is that fact that you don’t have the same access to the resources and support that some of your peers and colleagues in major cities might take for granted.

The outstanding members of our discussion panel are Kevin Berg FAIM (General Manager of Bechtel’s $30 billion projects in Gladstone), Glenn ‘Shoey’ Schumacher (General Manager of Queensland’s largest power station) and Julie Boyd FAIM (former Mayor of Mackay and AIM Director). They will discuss how they have faced the challenges you face and how they succeeded.

Kurt Heidecker AFAIM, CEO of the Gladstone Industry Leadership Group, will chair the panel.

If you have questions about your personal management style, agility, resilience or team performance, attraction and retention or the many other management challenges you face every day in this region, then this is a must attend professional development event.
