The group will include for this special performance, saxophonist Lachlan Davidson, pianist Gianni Turcio, double bassist Adam Speigl and drummer Gerry Pantazis.

Jack Pantazis’s music is filled with styles that reflect the influences and broadness of his experience that covers almost 25 years of music making. His musical background is diverse and has seen him perform in many jazz clubs in Melbourne, more notably The Paris Cat Jazz Club with this group, performing in musical orchestra pits such as Wicked, Mama Mia, Lion King, Rent etc, has been the guitar chair for The Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra for the past 10 years (with 3 original big band CD’s), played with The Australian Pops Orchestra (Australian Philharmonic) and has performed on numerous recordings.

Improvisation and jazz is always at the forefront of his music but it is exhibited in the many different facets/styles and branches of what the jazz tree has to offer. Whether its in a swing, latin, ballad or fusion excursion his music is always honest, lively, exciting and filled with the unexpected.

This group of musicians is an exciting and highly interactive group of people who will guarantee a wonderful night of music. Don't miss their performance on Wednesday 20th March where they play two sets at The Bridge Hotel Castlemaine as part of the Castlemaine Fringe Festival).
