It comes to no surprise that the surfing mecca of Byron Bay harnesses some of the most talented artists and musicians in the world.

Southport Sharks is proud to host The Sounds of Byron Bay tour, which features three of the area’s best and most iconic songwriters along with their bands.

Taking their unique sound across Australia, Canada and Europe Pacha Mamma, Andy Jans Brown and JaFFer are set to have you on the edge of your chairs with anticipation.

Pacha Mamma create a unique blend of rock, blues, funk and reggae that can only stem from an alternative, surf culture such as Byron Bay.

Fronted by conscious music troubadour Micka, the band is completed by Luke Ferguson on bass, Shay Henderson on drums and Liam ‘Rasta’ Dorney on trumpet and vocals.

The second band in this epic trio is Andy Jans Brown who have recently released their debut double CD 'Letting Go!' and toured the east coast of Australia.

Frontman Andy Jans-Brown has previously opened a show for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, fronting his then Sydney band 'iris'. He is joined by Alex Mcleod, Luke Ferguson and Shay Henderson.

Completing the Sounds of Byron Bay, JaFFer play a cocktail of rock funk soul and pop in an all original set that is sure to please even the pickiest of tastes.

The band is fronted by Luke 'Jaffer' Ferguson vox and bass, Cameron Spike, Harry Nichols and Mark Hoare on guitars and Jacob Mann on drums.
