The original Stitches & Craft Show has returned and will be in Melbourne this spring. There will be something for everyone, from paper craft, home décor, and patterns to DIY ideas, whether you have crafted all your life or only just discovered it, The Stitches & Craft Show has you covered.
The Stitches & Craft Show will inspire and inform you with a range of ‘make and take’ classes, FREE crafty workshops and the ‘A is for all skill levels’ beginner-based activities.

Meet one of Australia’s best felt artists, Elizabeth Armstrong, at this year’s show. From hand dyed felt birds to unique wearable pieces, you’ll be embraced by a colourful wonderland of designs. Elizabeth began her felt passion 18 years ago and has followed it through with the launch of her book ‘Felt Happy.’ See Elizabeth in action at the show.

If you’re a fan of quilting, international quilting group SAQA’s (Studio Art Quilt Associates) travelling trunk show is an exhibition not to be missed. Their impressive display comprises 43 art quilts created by textile artists from all over the world using different and unique techniques. Another quilt display to admire is Beautiful Australia, inspired by the incredible diversity of Australia’s flora, fauna and landscapes.

The Stitches & Craft Show is perfect for young people too; those looking to create a unique piece of their own at an affordable price, no previous experience necessary. The Stitches & Craft Show is truly an attraction for anyone who is interested in, or curious about; beading, stamping, quilting, knitting, painting, textile art, cake decorating and many more exciting crafty things. A wide range of kits and patterns, boutique and unique products will be for sale at the show – all under one roof.
This is the last major craft event in Melbourne for the year so make sure you get involved and head down to the show.
