Future Entertainment is suitably ecstatic to announce that ‘Madchester’ legends, The Stone Roses will be playing 3 very exclusive headline Australian shows whilst on tour for the Future Music Festival in March 2013.

The Stone Roses are undoubtedly one of the most influential British bands of all time. Their self-titled album released in 1989 is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums ever made, and indeed was touted as the best ever according to NME.

Several generations of music fans barely even dared to dream of seeing the majestic Roses play live again following their breakup in 1996. So when in late 2011 the band announced their reunion the news was greeted deliriously with frenzied levels of excitement and anticipation amongst media and music lovers alike.

In the time the band had been away their legacy was clear. The Stone Roses returned as one of the most important bands in history.

2012 saw the eagerly anticipated return of The Stone Roses. The legendary four piece re-arrived in spectacular style with a summer of sold out headline shows and festivals that saw the Manchester band mesmerize over one million music fans across Europe and Asia.

Following the press conference that announced their reformation on October 18th 2011, the ground breaking British band entered the record books with the fastest selling rock concerts in UK history when their UK comeback shows sold 150,000 tickets in 14 minutes! Another show was quickly added which saw the tally reach over 220,000 tickets in 68 minutes!

2013 will see the classic band line-up of Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani (aka Gary Mounfield) and Reni (aka Alan Wren) playing live together in Australia for the very first time in over 17 years.

The Stone Roses will also appear as one of the headline artists on Future Music Festival in March 2013.

These shows will sell-out so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
