Celebrity dads, comedian Tim Ross and Dr Andrew Rochford, have partnered with global children’s brand Thomas and Friends to commemorate 70 years of brand heritage with a series of story book readings across Sydney and Melbourne.

As relevant today as it was 70 years ago, children of all ages are welcome to jump aboard the magical world of tank engines as Tim Ross and Dr Andrew Rochford steam ahead and bring to life one of the most popular pre-school stories of all time at the Thomas and Friends reading events.

First time Dad to Bugsy, 2, Tim Ross says: “My Dad used to read Thomas the Tank Engine stories to me growing up. Now I’m a Dad, I get the same pleasure reading them to Bugsy as I did listening to them when I was a kid.”

“It is going to be great to share in the magic of Thomas and Friends and see the sheer excitement and obsession that takes over kids when they’re consumed in a story like this,” said Tim.

Open to children of all ages, the Thomas and Friends reading events are taking place throughout Sydney and Melbourne at Toys"R"Us, Target and Myer.

Children from all over Australia will have the chance to enjoy the readings with a webisode of the Thomas and Friends storybook corner being available to download at the website above.
