The new classical string trio, Three Piece Suite, will have its public debut concert in Blackheath on Sunday, 24th March.

Three Piece Suite is a trio of longstanding professional musicians, friends and colleagues Rachel Westwood (violin), Valmai Coggins (viola) and Deborah Coogan (cello). Despite the challenges set by their geographical situations and differing diaries, their goal is to perform together the repertoire they love in cosier settings than the formal concert hall.

The program will feature these works:
Beethoven: Trio in C minor Opus 9 no 3
J. S. Bach: The Goldberg Variations BWV 988
F. Kreisler: Serenade “Polichinelle”
Schubert: Trio in B flat major D 471
J. Playford: English Country Dances
