MICF RAW National Finalist 2011.

Tien's audiences are constantly subjected to his no holds barred style of social commentary weaved in with absurdist insight. In 2012, Tien has performed at the Perth International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Fringe Festival (Nominated for Best Comedy), performed at Sydney's Homebake Music Festival and has supported acts such as Anthony Jeselnik (USA) and Dov Davidoff (USA).

Most recently, Tien was handpicked this year to be one of five comedians in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s prestigious Comedy Zone – a show case of up and comers from around the country.

“Tien Tran was one of the greatest comedians of the night, with his comedic style drawing a lot of laughs. The stories he told were carefully crafted until the clincher at the end which sent the audience wild, a good finish to the night and indeed the entire Sydney Fringe Festival.”
 The [AU] Review

“Also great was Tien Tran from Western Australia, who occasionally veered into very wrong territory, which is always a risk for a big crowd like this but it paid off.”
 The Sydney Morning Herald

“Tien Tran hit the ground running with a bold, confident delivery… potentially more offensive material packed a real punch, assisted by the fact he performed with such conviction.”

“Saw this twat on ABC last night. Thought he was good. Then realised he was a racist tosser. How does a vietnamese person end up with a greek Wogboy accent on television picking on other minority groups? Pot! Kettle! Black!”
