Popcorn Taxi is proud to host Jane Campion as she makes a rare public appearance to discuss her blockbuster mini-series, ‘Top of the Lake’, with co-writer Gerard Lee, after an exclusive public screening of the first two episodes.

‘Top of the Lake’ was the first TV series to make its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It received a standing ovation, and then again at the Berlin Film Festival. It is one of the most anticipated TV shows in the world.

Reminiscent of ‘The Killing’ and ‘Twin Peaks’, it has an atmosphere and an incandescence all of its own – set against the stunning geography of the South Island of New Zealand and peopled by complex, intricate characters.

‘Top of the Lake’ stars Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olsen from ‘Mad Men’), Holly Hunter (Academy Award Winner for ‘The Piano’) Peter Mullan (Best Actor, Cannes, ‘My Name is Joe’) David Wenham (‘Lord of the Rings’) and Thomas M. Wright (‘Balibo’) and is directed by Jane Campion and rising Australian director Garth Davis.

Talk to the Oscar-winner in person and have a unique experience within the relaxed and candid Popcorn Taxi atmosphere.
