To celebrate the theatrical release of his latest creation, Director Robert Connolly will be coming to Chauvel Cinema to host a preview of Underground: the Julian Assange Story on Wednesday March 27 at 7.00pm. Following the special preview screening Robert Connolly, Christina Assange Mother of Julian Assange and Leading Actor Alex Williams will open the floor for a live Q&A discussion with the lucky cinema audience!

The formative years of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, one of the most controversial figures of the 21st Century.

First broadcast free to air to over 1.3 million viewers on Network Ten in October 2012 Underground: the Julian Assange Story is the new theatrical version that was critically acclaimed at its Toronto and London International Film Festival showings. Produced by Matchbox Pictures, written and directed by Robert Connolly, this 'origin story' is based on a novel by Suelette Dreyfus.
