Vintage in the Hills 2013

The inaugural Vintage in the Hills in Strathalbyn. At the Town Hall there are vintage and retro dealers with clothing and fashion accessories from the 1920's onwards, collectables, bits and pieces of retro furniture, fashion art, buttons and bows, linen and lace, costume jewellery and more. On Sunday Amanda Blair will be bringing her vintage bus up to Strathalbyn. Mr Sew-And-Sew will be running make a 1940's/50's dress workshop on Saturday and Sunday, there is the 'Chef and the Cookbook' with forties and fifties cookery lessons, Charlie's Newsreel Theatre has fashion films from the forties, newsreels and perhaps you may even get the opportunity to see 'Hitler Dead or Alive'. In the Town Hall there is Katies Sweetheart Vintage Cafe, there are the Poppy Sisters with make-do-and-Mend poppies, 'Knitting for Victory' both days and dress in 'vintage' and perhaps win $200 on Sunday in the 'Best Dressed In Vintage competition at 12.30.
