The mind and the breath are intertwined in action. When the mind is stressed and anxious, the breath becomes shallow and irregular. When the mind is at rest, the breath is slow, deep and reaches the lower lobes of the lungs. This relationship can be managed through a Pranayama (breath/energy control) practice where calm is restored in the mind through the workings of the breath.

In this intensive workshop we will explore fundamental Pranayama techniques, working on breath exercises for cleansing, balancing and relaxation.

Each session will begin with a gentle Asana (postures) practice allowing the body and the mind to soften before we begin our Pranayama and Meditative practice.

This workshop is designed to help alleviate the symptoms of stress and an overly busy mind by increasing focus, creativity and awareness through a peaceful subtle practice.
