Real Teens Foundation's Youth forums are an opportunity for teenagers to connect in a positive environment with other like minded teens seeking support to succeed and have a healthy self-image and self confidence.

This is a place where teens come to experience personal growth & emotional resilience that support them to not only survive teenage years but also thrive and become a positive, emotionally resilient and successful adult living life on purpose.

Surviving in a teenagers world is more difficult now than it has ever been. Teenagers are exposed to and have access to so much information and social input at a flick of a button. The process of finding out who they are and who they want to be can be impacted by the negative influence from the media or social media or negative peer groups.

To 'fit in' they seek and are influenced by how to act, what's in and what's out and who they have to be and what they have to do according to someone else's preceptive (and usually not their parents'). There is little room in this fast paced world for a teen to find out who they really want to be, more importantly who they are and what make them 'them'.

The team at the Real Teens Foundation identified that our teenagers need support on a regular basis to handle the challenges that life throws at them. They need guidance to navigate the minefield that is the Media and Social Media and the influence this has on them as well as the negative influence that their peers may have on them.

We have put together our Youth Forums to do just that. These are that currently run on a monthly basis and soon to be weekly basis.

These Youth Forums run from the party room at different McDonalds outlets from 7pm - 9pm every 3rd Thursday of the Month.

Our Youth Forums are an open style of forum where teens have the opportunity to openly share what is going on in their world. These are facilitated by our Coaches that show them life skills and strategies. This is also a place where teens can connect with other teens in a positive environment where being yourself is not only accepted but encouraged.

Through this forum, teens experience personal growth strategies and tools they can use in their day to day lives to handle what come up for them or may come up in the future.

This is a free and non-denominational event. We teach basic life principles and strategies that empower teens to make positive life choices.
